Here are five year-round international research internships you may consider applying to.

1. Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) Research Internship, Japan

Located in Okinawa Island, Japan, OIST is one of the top private universities in Japan. This fully-funded research internship at OIST is offered twice a year for 2 to 6 months, geared towards Undergraduates, Master’s, and recent graduates. This internship will provide you 2400 JPY per working day along with a shuttle bus pass, one round-trip air ticket, and a furnished apartment. Institute of Science and Technology Austria is one of the most prestigious universities in Austria located in Klosterneuburg, Austria. The year-round scientific internship, aimed at Bachelor’s and Master’s students, provides you in-depth research experience as well as numerous benefits, including stipend, accommodation, cafeteria access, language courses, and shuttle bus services for up to one year. The Visiting Student Research Program at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is one of the more competitive internships. The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is one of the top-ranked universities with world-class research facilities. The program is aimed towards Undergraduate and Master’s students for 3 to 6 months. 4. Singapore International Pre-graduate Award (SIPGA), Singapore

The Singapore International Pre-graduate Award provides short-term research experiences at the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) to top international students for 4 to 5 months. The European Organization for Nuclear Research, also known as CERN, offers short-term technical and administrative internships to undergraduates for 1 to 6 months.
